'to draw a blank'
This means to fail to remember something, or to not know something.
Example:
The bank clerk asked for my phone number, and I drew a blank! I couldn't remember my own phone number because I never call myself!
Slang of the Week
"steep"
This means expensive
Example:
We wanted to buy the house, but the price was just too steep for our buget!
